Well, the worst week we've had so far is finally over, and though this is the first week we've ever lost money, our losses were limited to about 20% of our total profit so far. In the long run, that's not so bad.
The difficult thing is not letting losses affect the selections. When you go on a losing streak, it's very tempting to try and make more selections to win all the money back, or to reduce the amount that we bet to protect our winnings. Neither of those things will work in the long run though, and the smart gambler knows that. I'm going to keep making my selections the way I always have, knowing that the criteria I use has always worked in the long run, and hopefully always will in the forseeable future.
Also, one important thing to note. I'm traveling to Las Vegas this week, the gambling capital of the United States. It should be fun. I'll have my computer with me, and I should be able to make selections every day, but I can't guarantee it. Also, I usually get my picks in by 10am EDT, which will be 7am there, so my picks won't be coming as early as usual. I will try to make the selections as early as possible, but it will probably be more like 13:00 EDT.
This week, most of our picks will be for tennis. We might find a game or two in the baseball playoffs, and there is a football game on Thursday night that we might play, but other than that, tennis is all we have. NBA basketball starts in November, and I have a fantastic record there. I'll post occasional picks on this site, but I've decided that these picks are too valuable to release to hundreds of people every day. If too many people use them, it could dilute their profitability. I've posted my record, and more information about my NBA picks on my website, http://www.NBACode.com.
I'm giving my regular readers a deal on the subscriptions, and I'll start accepting orders when I return from Las Vegas. I just wanted to give everyone a head's up on that.
So that's all for now. Here are today's picks. Let's see if the new week will bring us better fortune than last.
