I'm trying my hand at college football again, even though I didn't do very well last weekend. My selections are all based on past results, and the chances of each outcome occurring.
For example, my calculations show that Maryland has a better than 50% chance of beating this spread, and therefore, the odds of 2.00 have value. In addition, my calculations show that Maryland has a better than 10% chance of winning straight up, and therefore the odds of 10.00 have value as well.
Keep in mind that we are still very likely to lose the 2nd bet (Maryland's chances of winning straight up are around 15-20%), but the payout is high enough to warrant the bet, since it should be profitable in the long-term.Tennis
